Guidelines For Conference Organizers

1. Submission Process

  • Instructions for Authors:
    Authors must prepare manuscripts according to the UI: EMFT Conference Template. Submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
    • Paper length: 6–10 pages (including figures, tables, and references).
    • Language: English only.
  • Submission Format:
    • Preferred format: Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX (PDF with source files).
    • All figures must be embedded and captioned.
    • Submit via: [Designated Conference Submission Portal or Email—TBD].
  • Submission System:
    The EasyChair or Microsoft CMT platform will be used for submission and review management. Login details and conference link will be shared on the official website.

2. Peer Review Process

  • Review Protocol:
    All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts.
  • Evaluation Criteria:
    • Originality and relevance to the conference themes
    • Technical quality and clarity
    • Contribution to knowledge in engineering, management, or future technologies
    • Proper structure and citations
  • Decisions:
    • Accept
    • Accept with minor/major revisions
    • Reject
      Feedback will be shared with authors through the platform or official email.

3. Publication Policies

  • Copyright & Licensing:
    Authors will retain copyright. However, they must grant UI: EMFT the right to publish and archive the work. Licensing will adhere to [specific Creative Commons license, if applicable].
  • Conference Proceedings:
    Accepted papers will be published in peer-reviewed proceedings with an ISBN. Selected papers may be recommended for Scopus/WoS indexed journals or book chapters.

4. Formatting Guidelines

  • Manuscript Template:
    Use the official UI: EMFT Conference Template, available on the conference website.
  • Citation Style:
    IEEE/APA format (based on field). Specific instructions will be provided per track.
  • Figures & Tables:
    • Numbered sequentially (e.g., Figure 1, Table 1)
    • High-resolution images (300 dpi recommended)
    • Include source or legend if applicable

  • Communication channels and expected response times.
